Change the following numbered salient features: #4 Vehicle weights: Operating weights: Delete 82,000 lbs. Insert 132,000 lbs. Track gauge: Delete 6 ft. 10 in., Insert 7ft. 9in. #5 Ramp module: Delete 300 lbs per module, Insert 350 lbs per module. #8 Add: The first nose ramp module (about 5 ft. long) tread surface shall be covered with high strength aluminum non-skid plate. The nose section design shall be reinforced by adding a minimum design impact factor of 30%. Add No. 22. to salient features. Two sets of bracing for each set of ramps system shall be provided. Pin connections at 9 in. on centers shall be located in the bracing system to allow variable track gauges to extend to max. of 7 ft. 9 in. This applys to notice published 13 Aug 97. (0232)
