This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6 and 13.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be issued; Quotes are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this Request for Quote is N00244-97-Q-5242 and closes on 9/4/97. This solicitation, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 46. This solicitation is for Ventilation systems; rooftop, for outdoor installation; quantity eight (8) each. Specifications: Each unit shall be a direct replacement for existing unit, units shall include 40hp high frequency motors, 460 volt, 3 phase 60, 1800 rpm, vari. pitch drive. Unit shall include spring vibration isolators. Units shall have NEMA 3R disconnect switches. Units shall be equipped with quick opening access doors, companion flanges, inlet screens. Units shall be equipped with discharge caps with butterfly dampers and vertical mounting brackets. Entire unit shall be coated with rust preventative primer. Unit shall be same or equal to RNK International Model No. RKI-040.
