A -- ASSESS BREAST CANCER CASE-CONTROL DIFFERENCES IN LEVELS OF INSULIN-LIKE GROWTH FACTORS SOL RFQ-70164-NV DUE 090597 POC Debbie Moore, Purchasing Agent, 301-402-4509, Trish Haun, Contracting Officer 301-402-4509 The National Cancer Institute intends to enter into an agreement with McGill University, Department of Medicine, Quebec, Canada to assess case-control differences in serum levels of IGF-I, IGF-II, IGFBP1, and IGFBP3. This is a follow-on purchase to an order entitled "IGF Validity, Quality Control and Feasibility." Changing laboratories would be detrimental to the current research as the results would not be comparable. Due to continuity of an on-going experiment the Government intends to award as sole source procurement to McGill University. This in not a request for proposals, but rater a notice of intent. However, organizations who believe they can meet this need may submit a proposal with all evaluative materials to Debbie Moore, 6120 Executive Blvd., Rm. 634, Rockville, MD 20892-7227 no later than September 5, 1997 at 1:00 PM EST.
