D -- ONIZUKA/VANDENBERG CIRCUIT SERVICE SOL DCA200-90-C-0012 POC Susan Hayden, 618-256-9732 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) has issued a 12-month sole-source extension to the Onizuka/Vandenberg Circuit Service contract, DCA200-90-C-0012. The sole-source extension is required due to the short time frame before this contract ends. In the short time available, the requirements for this extension can only be met by the existing contractor. The contractor is GE American Communications, Four Research Way, Princeton, NJ 08540. The 1.544 Mbps circuit supports data transmission requirements between Onizuka Air Station, CA, and Vandenberg Tracking Station, CA. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2). This contract action continues service to allow time for competitive reaward. See Numbered Note 22. (0232)
