The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking qualified individuals capable of providing Pharmacist Aide services, not to exceed 20 hours per week. Services include but are not limited to: Dispensing daily prescriptions under the supervisory pharmacist, dispense the non-controlled substance pill line medication three times a day for delivery by nursing staff, maintain inventory of medication found in the storage area, discard medications in accordance with BOP and P.R. Health Department rules and regulations. Incumbent must have three years of experience in the field of work. The care will be for inmates at the Metropolitan Detention Center -- Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Organizations are requested to contact the Contracting Officer listed in this notice. The estimated issue date of the request for proposal is September10, 1997, with an anticipated receipt of offers date of October 9, 1997.
