Gunderson (SEA02611) (703) 602-7706 The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole source contract action with KPMG Peat Marwick, 2001 M Street NW, Washington DC 20036 for Contractor Advisory and Assistance Support Services (CAASS) in support of the Undersea Weapons Program Office's MK48 ADCAP Torpedo Programs. The services are expected to be provided from 01 October 1997 through approximately 30 June 1998. The follow-on contract for Undersea Weapons' Program Office CAASS is planned to be competitively awarded in FY98. Because the proposed effort flows directly from work being performed under the current contract with KPMG Peat Marwick, the services required until the award of the competitive procurement are best provided by KPMG Peat Marwick. A separate synopsis announcing the follow-on competitive procurement will be published at a later date; interested offerors should not respond to this announcement.
