(310) 725-7543 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Western-Pacific Region, under the FAA Acquisition Management System (FAAAMS) hereby announces its intention to contract grounds maintenance services for the Southern California TRACON and the Child Care Center Building at 9175 Kearny Villa Road, San Diego, CA 92126. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supplies, equipment, and supervision necessary to provide complete grounds maintenance service including clean-up, weed abatement and fertilizing. All work shall be in strict accordance to the statement of work, specifications, and applicable clauses provided. Services are required from 10/1/97 through 9/30/98 with 4 additional option years. The estimated dollar range for the procurement of the base year is between $25,000 -- $50,000. It is anticipated that Request for Offer DTFA08-98-Q-10189 will be issued approximately on 08/28/97. Responses will be due approximately 14 days after date of issuance. THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET-ASIDE FOR 8(a) SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED BUSINESSES (SEDB) WHO ARE CERTIFIED UNDER THE STANDARD INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION (SIC) CODE OF 0782. NOTE: All transactions on the resultant contract, from beginning to end will be between the Federal Aviation Administration and the successful Contractor. This resultant contract will not be between the Federal Aviation Administration and the U.S. Small Business Administration. TRI-PARTI AGREEMENTS ARE NOT APPLICABLE ON THE RESULTANT CONTRACT.
