The Bureau of Reclamation, Grand Coulee Dam, Washington, has a requirement for labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete sprayed polyurethane foam (SPF) roofing system repairs in two separate locations at Grand Coulee Dam. The existing SPF roofing system is a composite of sprayed-in-place, light weight, closed-cell, rigid polyurethane foam insulation with a liquid applied elastomeric protective coating. Third Power Plant Roof: Repair and re-top coat between points one thru 61 on marked drawing 1222-D-320 on the Third Power Plant Roof. Contractor will be required to repair blisters and replace foam in damaged areas throughout the roof as directed by the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR). 500kv, Service and Warehouse Building: Repair and re-top coat per marked drawing 1222-D-2699 the upper roof of the Service and Warehouse Building. Contractor will be required to repair blisters and replace foam in damaged areas throughout the roof as directed by COTR. All work and materials shall conform to state and local codes of their latest editions, including the Bureau of Reclamation Safety and Health Standards. Testing: United Coating's Unisil 700 at this time has the only Grand Coulee Dam accepted Material Data Safety Sheets (MSDS) and has been successfully tested on-site to guarantee performance by the Government. It will be the bidders responsibility to secure the MSDS if the product to be used is other than Unisil 700, and to conduct through the COTR an on-site test. SIC 1761, size standard $7 million.
