732-323-2165 NAWCAD Lakehurst proposed to procure Mobile Facilities,
constructed of by the foam and beam method with an exterior surface of
white painted aluminum, 8 ft. wide x 8 ft high x 20 ft long. The size
of the product requires special fixtures and unusual machining
capability. Five types of mobile facilities are to be manufactured in
accordance with detailed drawings and statement of work as follows:
Type A, P/N 1339AS700-1, 30 each; Type B, P/N 1339AS701-1, 70 each;
Integration Unit, P/N 1339AS900-2, 35 each; Side Opening Type A, P/N
1339AS500-1, 10 each; Side Opening Type B, P/N 1339AS501-1, 10 each.
There is a requirement for one First Article Test Unit for each type
and each type contains two 100% option quantities. The First Article
Test Units will be ready for testing 150 days after contract award and
the First Article Test Report is required 210 days after contract
award. First article testing may be waived for those vendors who have
previously furnished identical or similar supplies which have been
accepted by the Government. The Government requires the production
units to be delivered at a rate of 20 units per month. The Government
reserves the right to make multiple awards in order to achieve the
total required monthly deliveries. In order to evaluate realistic
delivery capacity, offerors will be required to submit production plan
data as cited in the solicitation for evaluation purposes. The offer
providing the best value in price, production capability, and past
performance will be selected for contract award. The contractor shall
maintain a quality system that, as a minimum, adheres to the
requirements of ANSI/ASQC-92. Other requirements include, but not
limited to: magnetic particle inspection, penetrant inspection,
welding, plating and finishes/coating applications. Packing and
Packaging shall be in accordance with the best commercial practice. The
