Metal plate mounted on American Walnut wooden board, metal to be .050 thickness 18 percent nickel silver, wordage on diploma to be surfaced -- imprinted from camera-ready copy supplied by the USAF Academy. Successful contractor must have the capability of manufacturing the diplomas in house (etching and engraving metal plates and fastening the plate onto the wood plaques). Diplomas to be manufactured in accordance with USAF Academy specifications -- This will be a requirements type contract with first year's performance commencing 1 Jan 98. -- Estimated quantities to be 960 ea for the basic year, 990 ea, 950 ea and 950 ea for the three option years. Manufacturing of approximately 30 additional diplomas per year will be required for Cadets who graduate later then class scheduled dates -- Delivery FOB Destination to USAF Academy CO 80840 not later than second Friday of April each year.
