S -- HOSPITAL HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES AT THE NAVAL HOSPITAL AT NAVAL AIR STATION, LEMOORE, CALIFORNIA SOL N62474-97-R-2456 POC Katherine Overby/Contract Specialist, (209) 998-3904, Glenda Allen/Contracting Officer, (209) 998-3905 SOLICITATION NOTICE -- The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide hospital housekeeping services at Naval Hospital facilities, including Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF), e.g., patient care areas, special patient care areas, and administrative/office support areas, for the Hospital, Hospital Annex, Wellness Center, and Drug/Alcohol Abuse Counseling Center by means of a Combination Firm-Fixed Price and Indefinite Quantity type contract. The period of performance is for a base period with possible four option years, that may consist of 1 to 12 months period. The total duration shall not exceed 60 months. The Contractor shall ensure all services protect facility and furnishing integrity, human health, and the environment. The services to be provided are subject to the Service Contract Act. The contract is to be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits the proposal considered most advantageous to the Government considering "Price" and "Technical"evaluation factors. -- The following Technical evaluation factors are presented in descending order of importance. Factors (combines) are approximately equal to price. Factor 1 -- Experience; Factor 2 -- Staffing; Factor 3 -- Past Performance; Factor 4 -- Organizational Structure/Management Expertise; and Factor 5 -- Utilization of Small, Small Disadvantaged, and Women-Owned Small Business Concerns. The project is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7349 and the annual size standard is $12 million. All responsible sources from small business concerns may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The contract award will be subject to FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds (APR 1984) clause.
