previously-published synopsis, record number 1905PRY0014, issue date
8/08/97, as amended by posting of 8/8/97. It is issued for the purpose
of providing clarification to the previously-published synopsis. The
following items detail the Navy's minimum requirements for the Hush
House: 1) augmenter liner sheets are to be fabricated of stainless
steel (gauge 12), 2) Interior perforated face sheets (door face sheet,
rear wall and roof face sheets) are to be assembled using stainless
steel (gauge 12), 3) inlet silencer configuration requires that the mid
silencer on either side of the Hush House be eliminated, turning vanes
installed at the two (2) forward sets of inlet silencers, and
line-of-sight block panels eliminated, 4) exterior siding to be
assembled with G90 galvanized exterior. This Hush House will utilize a
trailer-type thrust stand. No refueling will be performed in the Hush
House. Any modifications that have been implemented to the original
Hush House design which enhance the serviceability and maintenance can
be submitted, but are not a requirement of this solicitation. Due to
the above, the closing date for responses is extended to 28 Aug 1997.
Closing time remains the same at 3:00 p.m., local (Philadelphia) time.

accordance with FAR 52.215-18, If the offeror chooses to transmit a

failure attributable to the transmission or receipt of the facsimile
