Z -- REPLACEMENT OF AIR HANDLING EQUIPMENT IN THE YOUTH CENTER NAVAL STATION BUILDING 126 AT THE U.S. NAVAL ACADEMY, ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND SOL N62477-96-Q-0509 DUE 091997 POC Ruth Anne Gibson, Purchasing Agent The work includes the removal of the existing air handling unit located within the west rear corner of the building, existing thermostat and the existing condenser which is located outside behind the building, existing disconnect switches, existing fuses or circuit breakers; the disconnection of the hot water boiler from the existing air handler and the removal of any unusable electrical wiring, piping and ductwork that is associated with the existing equipment. The project also includes the installation of a new air handler unit with a new thermostat, new disconnect switches, new fuses or circuit breakers, new condenser unit and the reconnection of the existing boiler to the new hot water coil located within the air handler unit, the reconnection of all required plumbing systems and connection of all electrical systems which are required; the installation of new ductwork; any new concrete work for wall penetrations or underground cable runs, all testing and balancing of the equipment and any incidental related work.
