Bird, Contracting Officer, 208-373-4130 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is R4-17-97-09 and is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) current through Federal Acquisition Circular 45. This procurement is unrestricted. The standard industrial classification code is 3599 and the small business size standard is 500. This procurement will consist of 2 line items, (1) a handfed drum-style brush chipper with autofeed, widemouth infeed throat, turbo precleaner, spark arrester, ball/pintle hitch; and (2) extra chipper knives (1 set of 4 knives). Items will be delivered to the Humboldt-Toiyabe Supply Center, 1200 Franklin Way, Sparks, NV by September 30, 1997, FOB destination.
