NNMC intends to award a sole sourced standing order to Gen-Probe for reagents. Gen-Probe manufactures the only product that will screen and detect both Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Chlamydia trachomatis infections from single specimen obtained from a patient. These reagents are also compatible with the laboratory's Leader 450-i chemilumiscence photometer.
