D -- FULL DUPLEX, DEDICATED, 1.544 MBPS TRUNKS POC Karen Kinzel, 618-256-9447 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) intends to issue a 25-month sole-source extension to contract DCA200-94-C-0010. This contract provides for the lease of two full duplex, dedicated, 1.544 Mbps trunks carried via satellite facilities. One trunk extends between the Consolidated Space Test Center (CSTC) located at Onizuka Air Station (OAS), CA and Thule AB, Greenland, and the second trunk extends between the Cheyenne Mountain Technical Control Facility (TCF) located at Cheyenne Mountain AS (CMAS), CO, and Thule AB, Greenland. The contractor is GE American Communications, Inc., Four Research Way, Princeton, NJ, 08540-6684. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This sole source extends the contract to provide sufficient time to pursue a solicitation for the follow-on service on a competitive basis. See Numbered Note 22. (0234)
