D -- ONE 3.072 MBPS DIGITAL CIRCUIT AND ONE 384 KBPS DIGITAL CIRCUIT POC Thomas Kloeckner, 618-256-9450 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) intends to issue a 25-month sole-source extension to contract DCA200-91-C-0044. This contract provides for the lease of one 3.072 Mbps digital circuit from the Consolidated Space Test Center located at Onizuka Air Station, CA to Thule AB, Greenland, and one 384 Kbps digital circuit from Thule AB, Greenland to the Consolidated Space Test Center located at Onizuka Air Station, CA. The contractor is GE American Communications, Inc., Four Research Way, Princeton, NJ, 08540-6684. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This sole source extends the contract to provide sufficient time to pursue a solicitation for the follow-on service on a competitive basis. See Numbered Note 22. (0234)
