Special Instructions: If the Contractor has the capability to embroider or sew two (2) patches on the outer fabric/shell of the Gore-Tex Parkas and Jackets, this price must be identified separately. The following instructions apply for embroidery/sewing: Right Breast OSIA Emblem, Round, 3-1/4" diameter, (2) Left Sleeve at shoulder: U.S. Flag, 2" x 3-1/2". Fabric under and around sewn area must be fully sealed to maintain garment waterproofing. On-Site Inspection Agency will provide the patches for the sewing and a template for embroidery of the jackets. Contractor shall provide product information, (i.e. catalog pages, descriptive literature brochures, etc.) with quote if proposing items other than those identified above. This notice serves as the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) portion of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act (FASA). This solicitation document has incorporated provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 applies to this acquisition. The procedures identified in FAR 13.106 apply to this acquisition. Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of lowest overall price.
