99 -- RENAL OF PARKING SPACES SOL RFQ 224-006 DUE 093097 POC Patricia Jones, 510/803-2780 The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Western Regional Contracting Office has a requirement to privide parking spaces for the staff at the Metropolitan Detention Center, 535 N. Alameda, Los Angeles, CA 90012. The services are required twenty-four(24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week, fifty-two(52) weeks per year. The Offeror must be able to provide twenty-four (24) hour security and security patrols for the parking areas to ensure protection for the parked vehicles of the MDC and the MDC staff. The parking areas must be illuminated and the lost must be located within a "REASONABLE WALKING DISTANCE" to the Metropolitan Detention Center. Reasonable walking distance is considered to be approximately one-third of one mile from the MDC LA. The offeror must be able to provide nine consecutive adjoining parking spaces which must be marked. The anticipated date of award is Octoboer 15, 1997. The anticipated period of performance is Base Year: Date of Award through 12 months from Award Date; Option Year #1: 13 months from date of award through 24 months from date of award; Option Year #2: 25 months from date of award through 36 months from date of award; Option Year #3: 37 months from date of award through 48 months from awar date; Option Year #4: 49 months from date of award through 60 months from award date. All offerors are advised that this Request for Quotation is subject to the Wage Rates as established by the Department of Labor.
