Correction to Submission No. 114197 -- Change of Description. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a time and materials order to Lockheed Martin Federal Systems (LMFS-Owego), 1801 State Route 17C, Owego, NY 13827-3998 under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-97-G-0111 to define, study and prototype the Command Function Select (CFS) Sonobuoy functionality into the SH-60R Avionics System. The contractor shall conduct an independent assessment of the feasibility and constraints of incorporating the CFS Sonobuoy and define the capability of the implementation. The contractor shall provide Systems Engineering and Cognizant Engineering services in the support of the prototype integration of the CFS capability into the SH-60R Avionics System. LMFS-Owego is the sole developer and integrator of the SH-60R avionics suite and therefore, is the only known source with the expertise, technical data, equipment, and experienced personnel necessary to perform the required engineering study and analysis.
