REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: DEVELOPMENT OF COMMERCIAL TRANSPORT STUDY The Transport Data Centre of the NSW Department of Transport, Australia, wishes to engage consultants to undertake the key development stages of its Commercial Transport Study (CTS). The aim of the CTS is to provide reliable estimates of commercial travel between small geographic areas in the Greater Sydney Metropolitan Region. This consultancy is to develop a trip table estimation procedure for producing base year and projected commercial transport trip tables, and to detail the data collection approach to collect input data required for the estimation procedure. Consultants with experience in the development of trip table estimation procedures and large scale data collections, particularly related to urban commercial transport, are invited to submit proposals for this work.
