Musgrove, Contracting Officer (301) 295-6491 The National Naval Medical Center has a requirement for the Department of Neurology. NNMC intends to award a sole sourced maintenance contract to Nicolet Biomedical. This equipment consists of electroencephalographs (EEGs),electromyographs (EMGs), and Evoked potential systems. The equipment design, components, and software is proprietary. The following equipment will be on placed on the maintenance contract: Viking II System, Serial# EAM9200474; Transcan, Serial# 3167; Spirit Base System, Serial# FK960177, BMSI Review Station, Serial# Q255125326; Voyageur Review Station, Serial# EW960228; Viking IV, Serial# EP960300; Voyageur #1, Serial# EW960230; Voyageur #2, Serial# EW960229; BMSI Acquisition Machine #1, Serial# DN960242; BMSI Acquisition Machine #2, Serial# DN960243; Viking II, Serial# EAM9200546. Service will include one (1) maintenance inspection per year, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. normal working hour maintenance coverage, software upgrades, and all parts. Awardwill be made in the form of a purchase order for a base year period of one (1) year effective 1 October 1997 through 30 September 1998 with one (1) year option. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Award will be contingent upon availability of FY98 funding. (0235)
