The structure shall provide a sitting area for up to 20 people, some in wheelchairs. The structure shall be separate from Building 86 from a fire protection standpoint, but will be connected with a breezeway to facilitate pedestrian traffic in inclement weather. Mechanical systems will be required for heating with abundant ventilation for cooling. Design should incorporate large glass panels to enhance view and sections which will open to create an open-air environment in the summer. 90 day acceptance period required.
