New equipment will be installed under a separate contract after completion of this project. Work includes general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, and necessary removal of existing structures and construction throughout all buildings. All work must be completed within 365 days after notice to proceed. Estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Bid documents will be available on or about 26 August by written request. Cost of plans and specifications is $50 per set in the form of a money order, cashiers or certified check payable to the VA Medical Center. A maximum of three sets will be issued to firms intending to bid as prime contractors. One set will be issued to prospective subcontractors and suppliers. (0237)
