In general, work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and performing all operations in connection with Installing Safety Surface Under Playground Equipment, for the Youth Center playground near the baseball fields and Building 2582. In general, the work consists of removing sand and relocating landscape timbers from the existing playground in all areas as shown on the construction drawings; stockpiling landscape timbers and sand on site for reuse by the user; installing a safety surface to include a compacted crushed stone foundation, a granulated rubber cushioning course, and a seamless rubberized wearing surface. Performance period is 45 calendar days. Estimated dollar range is between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
