The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (Prov.), as an agent for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), will pursue support for the functional responsibility of planning, directing, and managing programs across a wide scope of the information sciences. This includes sensors, simulation, information exploitation, dissemination, C2/planning, and tasking of battlefield assets. Offerors shall be limited to companies owned by U.S. citizens due to the contractor's access to critical technology in the performance of this effort. Due to the requirement for quick responses and close coordination with DARPA program managers, the contractor will be required to provide a classified facility located within a 3 mile radius of DARPA, Arlington, VA., with a specified security level. This effort will be full and open competition. The proposed requirement is for a three (3) year basic effort, one option each for years four and five, and a range option which may be exercised up to five times, once eachyear. It is anticipated that this effort will be a cost plus fixed fee term (level of effort) contract.
