D -- INFORMATION TECHNOLGY SERVICES, INCLUDING TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICES SOL Not Applicable POC Scott Sautman, DTS31.MF, (618)256-9594 Due to the contractors unique qualifications and the nature of the aqcuisition, the Government proposes to modify an existing contract with Alcatel Network Systems on a sole source basis to extend the ability to provide engineering, equipment and installation during option years seven, eight and nine for Low Density Radio Communications Link (LDRCL) at sites for which the FAA is responsible. The sites which require coverage are utilized on a 24 hour per day, seven day a week basis to provide immediate communications to a portion of the United States Air Traffic Control System. Replacement and/or upgrade of these sites are required to provide continued safety in flight. The estimated value of this proposed modification is $12,000,000.00. Note 22 (0237)
