4TH DISTRICT KANSAS CONGRESSMAN TODD TIAHRT FEDERAL PROCUREMENT CONFERENCE 4th DISTRICT KANSAS CONGRESSMAN TODD TIAHRT FEDERAL PROCUREMENT CONFERENCE -- On 15 September 1997, Congressman Todd Tiahrt in cooperation with the Institute for Procurement Assistance will sponsor a federal procurement conference at McConnell AFB in Wichita, KS. Registration will begin at 7:30 A.M. in the Emerald City Community Center Ballroom. In addition to Congressman Tiahrt, distinguished speakers include Mr. Anthony J. DeLuca, Director, U.S. Airforce Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, Rear Admiral Mike Sullivan the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Research, Development and Acquisition), and Dr. Gerald Graham, Dean, W. Frank Barton School of Business, WSU. Emphasis will be on Electronic Commerce/Electronic Data Interchange (EC/EDI) and breaking into the government market, specifically with the Department of Defense. Numerous prime contractors will also be in attendance.
