This requirement calls for lease of No. 13, Glass Abrasive Blast in the estimated amount of 325,000 pounds per year and pick up and recycling of the spent blast (dust product) which will contain heavy metals including chromium and cadmium. The contractor will be responsible for compliance with all Government laws and DOT, EPA and OSHA regulations necessary to ensure that the dust product is being used as product and is not being processed as a waste material.The contract will be for a base year with options to extend it for up to 4 additional years. The media shall be delivered in 55 gallon steel drums to the Naval Aviation Repair Depot, Jacksonville, FL in minimum shipments of 5000 pounds within seven calendar days of recipt of an order.
