The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price Contract to Northrop Grumman Corporation for Standard Depot Level Maintenance (SDLM) on EA-6B aircraft not to exceed 14 aircraft in Fiscal Year 1998. These SDLMs may be performed concurrently with existing aircraft modifications or as Stand-Alone efforts. Northrop Grumman Corporation is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the EA-6B and is the only known source that has the necessary aircraft drawings and schematics, technical qualifications and depot/rework capabilities to support this effort and meet EA-6B program schedule.
