This is a synopsis for commercial items using commercial procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and simplified acquisition procedures IAW FAR Part 13. Acquisition of six heavy lift, truck mounted cranes, to be leased for two years with an option to buy. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3537-750. Cranes will be used on/off highways, under extreme dusty and cold weather conditions at Minot AFB ND, FE Warren AFB WY and Malstrom AFB MT. The cranes shall meet or exceed these minimum specifications, the crane is to be hydraulically operated and telescoping. Gross vehicle weight rating is 58,000 lbs. Vehicle engine shall be 370 HP with high altitude equipment and six speed automatic transmission, with overcrank protection. The hydraulic system shall have overload protection and contain winterization package (-65 Degrees F) to include winter grade oil, arctic seal kits (Poly Pack Tight) and hydraulic oil heater.
