Hudson/ (202) 482-3552 The U.S. Department of Commerce, Acquisition Services Division, intends to issue a sole source Purchase Order to Washington Consulting Services (WCS), 1142 Broadway Plaza, Suite 400, Tacoma, WA 98402 for the acquisition of license renewal/maintenance for COHO and CHINOOK Software. This software is a decision support and workforce assessment tool designed to assist supervisors, managers, administrative specialist, human resource specialists and civil rights to assess their own workplace problems and issues. The WCS is deemed the only responsible source capable of provide the required services. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. Companies who believe they can provide the above listed software renewal/maintenance may submit a quote, with sufficient technical and pricing data to demonstrate their ability to meet the governments requirement. A determination by Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Quotations shall be submitted via facsimile to Rhonda Hudson on (202) 482-0546 on or before September 8, 1997, responses from responsible sources will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
