The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a need for services to perform laboratory testing and qualification of protective gloves for use by law enforcement and corrections officers, in accordance with test procedures and performance levels described in the draft standard to be supplied by NIST to offerors. Each glove model submitted for qualification shall be tested in accordance with test procedures and protocols of the draft standard. The contractor shall deliver (1) two hard copies and two electronic copies of the test results for each glove model tested; and (2) copies of raw test data and retainer samples of each glove model tested, at the end of the contract period. The period of performance for this acquisition is for one year, effective from the date of contract award, with an option to renew the contract for a second year.
