The Bureau of Reclamation announces its intention to negotiate an indefinite quantity contract for the procurement of professional architect-engineer services in the fields of architectural, civil, mechanical, environmental, and electrical engineering. The work to be performed may include Title I (Conceptual design), Title II (Final design), Title III (Construction inspection), and Title IV (surveying) services. These services are to be provided on a firm-fixed price task order basis in the states of Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. The contract will be negotiated in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations, Part 35 as implemented by Departmental and Agency regulations and directives. The performance period will be for one year beginning on the date of an award with four prepriced optional years. The cumulative orders over the life of the contract may not exceed $1,000,000. Competent firms suitably staffed to perform the required services are invited to submit five copies of an up-to-dat Standard Form 254, U.S. Government Archetect-Engineer Questionnaire and Standard Form 255, Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire for Specific Project to the above address. Your Standard Form 254 must be received by the above office by 3:00 p.m., September 30, 1997. Submittals will be evaluated on the following criteria listed in descending order of importance: 1. Professional qualifications including education, work experience, and registration status of personnel. 2. Experience with Bureau of Reclamation and other Federal Government design standards. 3. Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work including, and compliance with performance schedules. 4. Capacity to accomplish work including adequacy of facilities for performance of the work including necessary to provide specialized services that may be required. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside requirement, and the small business size standard is $2.5 million, and the standard industrial classification code is 8712.***** (0238)
