Work will include, but not be limited to: drain line repairs, aft laboratory modification, hotwell replacement, exterior repair work, galley vent cleaning, sanitary water pumps and tank, removal of the port bait tank, miscellaneous repairs, oily waste tank, raising CPP fluid tank vents, foremast ladder replacement, overhaul no. 1 air compressor, main crane repair, resurface weather decks, reverse osmosis unit installation, auxilary hydraulic modification, reefer flat steel repair. The solicitation will be issued on or about 16 September 1997. The ship will be in La Paz, Mexico 28-30 September 1997 for inspection. Work will be performed at the ship's home port in San Diego, CA.
