Command intends to modify its existing engineering support services
contract with Technology Management Analysis (TMA) Corporation to
increase the level of effort for in-scope work by 12,200 hours. This
will extend the period of performance on the fourth and last option
year of the contract (M67854-93-C-0127) for an additional 30 days from
1 September through 30 September 1998. The modification will keep
essential contract service support without interruption during the
demonstration and validation phase of the Advanced Amphibious Assault
Vehicle (AAAV) Program which is a DoD Acquisition Category (ACAT I
weapon system procurement. The requirement to increase the contract by
12,200 hours is necessary to provide critical services for the
engineering, logistics, and other technical support for the AAAV
