65 -- MULTI-CHANNEL INTRAVENOUS INFUSION PUMPS The Naval Medical Logistics Command is surveying vendors to determine the feasibility of a rental agreement for multi-channel intravenous infusion pumps. This is solely for information purposes and will not result in contract award. Response to this survey shall provide the following: Monetary savings analysis of total annual expenditure for renting compared to the purchase of 400 ALARIS/IVAC MedSystem III multi-channel intravenous infusion pumps. The rental arrangement may be for either a set term (e.g. 5-year term, 8-year term) or an as-needed-term based on ships' deployment (with no guarantee of frequency). In the latter case, the vendor should provide the annual premium required to maintain its MedSystem III infusion pump inventory level. The above analysis to be based on the ability to deliver 200 ALARIS/IVAC MedSystem III multi-channel intravenous infusion pumps to the USNS Comfort, Baltimore, MD within 48 hours of request AND to deliver 200 ALARIS/IVAC MedSystem III multi-channel intravenousinfusion pumps to the USNS Mercy, San Diego, CA within 48 hours of request. A technology upgrade clause A maintenance agreement clause A biomedical technician training clause An early termination of lease penalty clause All vendors are invited to respond with ability to meet the above provisions. Please provide details of potential rental agreement content. If this survey results in information determined to be in the Government's best interest, a separate formal solicitation may be issued.
