Cirino, Contracting Officer (703)602-8000 The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a sole source contract to Raytheon E-Systems, St. Petersburg Operation, 1501 72nd Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33710 to procure FY98 Low Rate Initial Production requirements for Cooperative Engangement Capability (CEC). FY98 requirements including options include up to 14 AN/USG-2/3 CEC systems and associated support equipment, INCO kits, spares, installation support, various test equipment, transistion to production efforts, fixtures to support production, upgrades of test sets and production test equipment, configuration changes, and data. The estimated period of performance is through March 2000. A written proposal is being sought with an anticipated Award date of 9 January 1998. Raytheon E-Systems is currently the sole developer and equipment manufacturer of CEC. See Numbered Note 22. (0240)
