The USIA's International Bureau of Broadcasting (IBB), has a requirement for a US State Department (DOS) approved, security barrier at its Sri Lanka Radio Relay Station. The specific requirement is for approximately 2,100 LF of 12 ft. high, anti- climb, 9 gauge steel with three slide gates. Installation to be accomplished by IBB personnel. The material shall be anti-climb, with mini-mesh material at the top and fabric capable of being buried 1 ft. below grade at the bottom. IBB intends to issue a sole source (FAR Part 6) contract using Simplified Acquisition procedures (FAR Part 13) to First Defence to supply this material.
