Line Item 0001 : Installation and Maintenance of Automatic Drain Relief, QTY 12, Unit of Issue Month, price per month with extended total. Wage Determination No.: 94-2017 Rev # 8 Applies. The services required by this SOW include contractor furnished labor, supervision, transportation, tools, equipment and minor repair materials necessary to accomplish the monthly preventative maintenance and installation of liquid proportioner pumps in the kitchen areas listed. Provide equipment, materials, maintenance and monthly operational checks to ensure a system failure does not occur. An automatic liquid proportioned pump will be installed at each location. Nineteen ounces of a chemical liquid will automatically be released daily into a floor sink or waste line. The dispenser will be replenished monthly between the 1st and the 5th of each month. The materials needed to implement this procedure are as follows for each location:. Introduction of a chemical liquid into the waste line will dissolve the grease currently building. This will reduce maintenance costs by solubilizing the grease, clearing the pipes all the way out to the district's wastewater treatment facility. Without the grease blocking the system, the grease trap is also freed, which allows an uninterrupted flow. This prevents the necessity of having lines pumped or snaked and the rank odors which result from grease clogged pipes. The chemical liquid shall not be a biological product. MATERIALS: ProDrain Chief II pump Installation/Maintenance Monthly Follow-up Visits. 24 Hour Emergency Service, 5 gallon container. EXECUTION: All inspections and routine work shall be performed by certified trained personnel. Any repairs found that are beyond the scope of this contract shall be reported in writing to the Quality Assurance Evaluator within 48 hours.
