The work includes complete interior renovations including asbestos abatement, incidental lead paint removal, demolition of existing partitions, rough carpentry, blanket insulation, fire stopping, joint sealants, new doors and frames, door hardware, metal stud and drywall partitions, ceramic tile, acoustical ceilings, resilient tile flooring, carpeting, painting, toilet partitions, fire extinguishers and cabinets, toilet accessories, and casework. Mechanical work includes modification to existing fire protection system, a new fire prote~ction system, removal of existing unit heaters, air handlers, fan coil units, water pumps and chiller, and installation of new chiller, pumps, and DDC control system. Electrical work includes the removal and replacement of all feeder breakers in main switch board and main lighting distribution panel, receptacles, lighting, fire alarm system, removal and disposal of PCB lighting ballasts, and incidental related work. The subject solicitation will be issued as unrestrictedand subject to the evaluation criteria contained in DFAR 252.219-7008 -- entitled "Notice of Evaluation Preference for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns -- Construction Acquisition -- Test Program (APR 1996)".
