The Naval Air Systems Command intends to enter into a Basic Ordering Agreement with Cubic Defense Systems, San Diego, CA., to perform modifications and repairs necessary to bring existing P-3C APS-115 ESM-Radar Equipment and P-3 AN/APS-80 in conformance with currently approved designs and to ensure proper functioning and performance, as well as to provide services and/or materials to repair, restore, alter, maintain and overhaul existing avionics and associated equipment delivered by the Contractor to the Government. This equipment includes Rotary Coupler and Feedball Assemblies for the AN/APS-80 and AN/APS-115 antennas. The services and supplies to be ordered may include any or all of the following: modification kits and installation to retrofit changes to the avionics and related equipment, including P-3C/P-3B ESM-Radar Antenna; engineering, prototyping and testing of modification kits; technical data, documentation and manuals; Contractor recommended coding; maintenance and engineering services; integrated logistics support; and overhaul, restoration and repair. Cubic Defense Systems is the only known source with the necessary technical expertise, engineering drawings, data and experience to perform this effort. The Administrative Contracting Officer will conduct negotiations with Cubic Defense Systems for this effort. (0241)
