THE INSTRUMENT MEASURES THE CONCENTRATION OF PARTICLES OCCURING NATURALLY IN THE AIR INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE SOLDIER'S MASK AND CALCULATES A FIT FACTOR. Requirements are 1000 EA M41 PROTECTION ASSESSMENT TEST SYSTEM (M41 PATS). The proposed contract will include evaluated options for FY99 and FY00 of 1000 each yr.
