Department of Commerce, NOAA has a requirement to purchase two (2)
concrete, hazardous material storage buildings. The buildings will be
located on site at the National Marine Fisheries Service, Beaufort
Laboratory located in Beaufort, North Carolina. One (1) building is to
be 12' x 20' and one (1) 10' x 12'. The buildings must be bullet
resistant, high wind (hurricane) resistant, corrosion resistant,
pre-assembled, single compartment relocateable storage buildings of
concrete construction. The buildings must be suitable for segregation
and storage of hazardous chemical waste as well as virgin chemicals in
the same building. Storage buildings must meet all current national
building codes and standards for electric, fire and mechanical codes.
The buildings are to be in accordance with specifications that will be
attached to the Request for Quotation (RFQ) package. The RFQ will be
available on or about September 12, 1997. All quotes will be due by COB
September 19, 1997. This acquisition is 100%set-aside for small
business. All requests for the RFQ must be in writing. Requests may be
faxed to 816-426-7530. Faxed receipt is the responsibility of the
vendor. All responsible sources may submit a bid that will be
