Starkey, Contract Specialist, 202-324-3718 The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has a requirement for a 48 foot loading dock with steps, bumpers and dock leveler to be fabricated and installed. The work will be performed at the FBI Firearms Training Range located at the FBI Academy, Quantico, Va., 22135 in the accordance with scope of work and drawings of Request for Quotation (RFQ) 70369. This acquisition will be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1542 and the Business Size is $17 million in annual receipts. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. A walk-thru of the work site will be held on September 10, 1997, at 10:00 a.m., eastern standard time (EST). Contractors planning to attend will need to notify the point of contact -- Sharon K. Starkey at 202-324-3718 by September 5, 1997. The Davis-Bacon Act and FAR clauses that will apply to this acquisition will be provided in the RFQ. Each offeror shall provide a list of at least three (3) references from projects exceeding $25,000.00. Past performance information shall include the following: name & address of the organization, name and telephone number of a person who can verify work and a brief description of the services rendered. This project will begin as soon as the successful bidder has been cleared through FBI security for access to FBI property. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which, if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. The RFQ package release date is September 9, 1997.
