Solicitations are not available nor does the Government intend to pay for information sought. The Department of Defense/Television-Audio Support Activity (T-ASA) is seeking to identify sources that can provide the following minimum specifications for a video production switcher: 1. A minimum of 32 inputs with 16 inputs minimum appearing simultaneously on bus bar buttons, with the remaining inputs shifted or reassignable. 2. At least two mix effects, two keyers per mix effect, downstream keyer, and two chroma keys (total of five keyers). 3. The ability to accept digital component, digital composite, analog component, and analog composite inputs. 4. Unit may be all digital component inputs with the necessary conversion equipment available to convert the formats as listed in item #3. 5. A minimum of six auxiliary busses in addition to the program and preview bus. 6. Outputs to be configured or able to convert to the same formats as the inputs. 7. The production switcher shall be directly controllable with an CMX Omni linear editor. 8. A minimum of two channel digital effects which can either be internal or external to the production switcher chassis (controllable from the switcher interface panel). There are no Government-owned drawings or technical literature for this action. Firms that have the ability to furnish this type of equipment are encouraged to submit a written statement and comprehensive technical literature.
