The National Institute of Health, (NIH), National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), has a requirement to purchase an Upgrade for and existing Zeiss Axiovert from Carl Zeiss, Inc., One Zeiss Drive, Thornwood, NY, 10594 by other than full and open competition. The following outlines the specifications for the required upgrade: 1) Upgrade for Existing Zeiss Axiovert C5810-01 Chil 3-Chip Color CCD Includes U6342-02 Photoshop Plug-in True Color, Chilled Integrating Useful for Brightfield, Darkfield, Nomarski and Florescence, Real Time Video Output at High Light Level-Versatile, Camera Functions may be controlled from within Photoshop, Oversampling Produces Digital Image Size of 1024x480 Pixels; 2) .60ENG Mount for Axiskop; 3) ZN Clamp F.SV6/SV11/VERT/STEMI; 4) PVM-1353MD Color Vid.MON. 13"; 5) 466123 -- Video Zoom Adapter 0.4x-.2.0x for use with all Video Cameras 2/3", 1/2", 1/3" with Standard C-Mount for Use with 60mm Interface; 6) Delivery and Installation Charges. The NIDDK also requires a copy of the vendor's commercial price list and descriptive literature for the above items. The equipment needed has specifications that must be met and are described in the Request for Quotation (RFQ) package. All requests for quotations must be within the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000. It is anticipated that the RFQ package NIH-NIDDK-97-303 will be availiable (fifteen) 15 days after the publication date of the synopsis.
