66 -- AUTOMATIC AC THERMOMETRY BRIDGE SOL NB8140004291MB POC Michelle Bernal, Purchasing Agent, (303) 497-3983 or FAX (303) 497-3163 E-MAIL: NOAA; MASC Acquisition Management, Michelle.A.Bernal@noaa.gov. The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) requires an Automatic AC Thermometry Bridge with the following specifications: 1)Ratio range: 0 to 1.299 999 9 on front panel, 0 to 1.299 999 99 over IEEE-488 digital interface. 2)Resistance range: 0-390 ohms. 3)Standard resistor range: 1 ohms to 300 ohms. 4)Sensor inputs: 0.25 ohms to 100 ohms resistance @ 0.01 degrees C. 5)Bridge principal: AC ratio transformer. 6)Ratio stability: less than 0.01 ppm year. 7)Ratio accuracy: plus or minus 0.1ppm. 8)Ratio linearity: less than plus or minus 0.01ppm. 9)Digital resolution: less than 0.01ppm. 10)Balance time: less than 20 seconds to full accuracy & resolution. 11)Balance modes: automatic using internal microprocessor, manual using front panel switches & analog meter. 12)Display units: ohms(ratio) 13)Instrument check modes: zero check to indicate detector offset, unity check to indicate ratio transformer error. 14)Excitation range: 0.1 to 50mA. 15)Excitation frequency: 30 Hz & 90 Hz AC. 16)Measurement modes: absolute & true simultaneous difference. 17)Computer control: IEEE-488 digital interface. 18)Analog output: plus or minus 10V 'AC out of balance' signal. There is no formal RFQ. The award decision will be based upon the best value to the Government, with technical merit and past performance being significantly more important than price. Terms and Conditions and agency level protest procedures can be found on web site http: netsite.esa.doc.gov/oam. Hard copy in full text available from office address and phone number listed in notice. Interested sources may submit a bid by fax or mail but it must be received on or before September 16, 1997.
