(IP-1747/WSN-7), including a keyboard/monitor assembly (P/N 90-700-016)
and computer/expansion assembly (P/N 90-500-002) -- quantity six (6)
each, and Secondary Control Display Unit (IP-1746/WSN-7A) (P/N
90-600-042) -- quantity six (6) each -- to serve as an operator's
interface to evaluate and control the AN/WSN-7 Ring Laser Gyro
Navigation System (RLGN). The IP-1747/1746 performs this task by
continuously monitoring attitude (Heading, Roll, and Pitch) position
(Latitude and Longitude), and velocity and rate data output of the
RLGN, displaying and plotting these parameters, and storing critical
data for analysis. Displays shall be provided in rack-mounted and
wall-mounted packaging supporting a 13.8" high resolution (1024x768)
Active Matrix Flat Panel Display with integrated Touch Screen
technology. Delivery shall be at NISE East Detachment -- Norfolk, VA.
The delivery date shall be 84 days after date of contract. The type of
contract anticipated is a Firm Fixed Price.The Standard Industry Code
is 5045 and the number of employees is 100. This procurement will be
issued on a sole source basis to Omni Sales, Inc., (distributor for
General Digital Corporation), 7939 Honeygo Blvd., Suite 105, Baltimore,
MD 21236. General Digital Corporation has the sole capability of
providing the industrial-quality, rack-mounted and wall-mounted
hardware. General Digital is the only known vendor that offers a very
slim (only 3.5" tall), rack-mounted, Intel-based 200MHz Pentium
computer, employing both a 3-slot IBM-compatible ISA backplane
structure in conjunction with a VME-based open system architecture
expansion bus. This high resolution display system is unique to General
Digital, in that, it is packaged in a very slim (3.5" tall)
rack-mounted package, as well as a wall-mounted display package; and,
it employs a high density multifunction 200MHz Pentium CPU board
supporting all PC-related peripheral functions, such that the complete
system will fit with the maximum rack-mount envelope packaging of
3.5"H x 19"W x 26"D. All responsible sources may submit a proposal
which will be considered. Requests for solicitation must state that
neither the requester, nor principle officials/owners, are currently
suspended/debarred from receiving contracts from any federal agency.
