70 -- EXTENSION OF PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE UNDER CONTRACT NUMBER 263-95-D-0335 SOL 263-95-D-0335 POC Patricia Pemberton, Contract Specialist The National Institutes of Health intends to negotiate on a sole source basis an extension of the period of performance specified in Contract number 263-95-D-0335 awarded to Northstar Systems, Incorporated located at 1432 N. Great Neck Road, Suite 203., Virginia Beach, VA 23454. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency., (a) Authority (1) Citations: 10 U.S.C. 2304 or 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(2), the Period of Performance for this contract is extended for one day from September 29, 1997 through September 30, 1997. This one day extension in the period of performance is considered critical to the National Institutes of Health, Office of Procurement Management ability to accomplish its mission during fiscal year 1997. The extension will provide continuity through the end of the fiscal year 1997, allowing Northstar to continue supplying Hardware, Software, Peripherals, and Laptops to the Federal Government.
